Newton Heath Drop Pits Upgrade
Location: Depot, Manchester
Scope of Work: Zetaqube assisted as Site Engineer in upgrading four drop pits to bring the floor level flush with rail level, improving safety and access. Key activities included:
- Casting reinforced concrete infill slabs
- Installing surface water drainage and manhole chambers
- Breaking out concrete under rails to allow gully pipework
- Installing prefabricated staircases with handrails
- Painting pit floors with resin-based, non-slip coating
Highlights:
- All works completed within a live depot during weekend possessions
- Safe delivery of high-risk operations including confined space, lifting, and hot works
- Quality assured through detailed ITPs and handover documentation
Kirkdale Retaining Wall
Location: London
Scope of Work: We played a key role in managing the piling works, pile cap installation, and construction of reinforced concrete buttresses on this project.
Shrewsbury
Location: London
Scope of Work: Zetaqube were involved as a Site Engineer in this project for the casting of reinforced concrete slab bases for diesel tanks, installation of manholes with precise levels and falls and construction of a deep drainage system.
